Registering interest
The interest list is for future editions. We collect your name, email, mobile number, Instagram username, city and gender. These details are required to register. With your agreement, THE LIST can send you SMS about future events and access opportunities. Registering interest does not apply for a particular event or guarantee an invitation. You can stop these future-event updates using the personal preferences link shown after registration or the unsubscribe link in a future message. Existing event guests are not automatically added to this list.
Event applications
Your name, email address, Instagram username, phone number, date of birth, gender, and your agreement to this notice are required. If invited, we also record SMS delivery, access, RSVP and check-in status. Organisers may add guest priority tags, shortlists, staff Instagram review status, private review notes and door notes or flags to manage admission.
Why we use it
To check that you will be 20 or older on the event date, review individual access requests, send personal invitations and event updates by SMS, manage attendance, and protect private access. Gender helps organisers understand their guest list. For walk-ins, door staff record a name, ID/age check and attendance; contact details are optional and no SMS consent is assumed. A request does not guarantee an invitation. Your details are not used for unrelated marketing.
Authorised organisers can save existing guests and interest registrations in private planning lists, add context notes, and review event history linked by phone number. A saved list does not create SMS consent or automatically send invitations. Deleting the original registration also removes its saved-list memberships and notes.
Your choices
You can stop SMS updates through the unsubscribe link included in each message. Stopping messages does not cancel a confirmed RSVP. SMS processing stops when you opt out.
Who can access it
Authorised THE LIST organisers, door staff (attendance and door notes, flags and priority tags only), and the service providers used to host the site, store guest details and deliver SMS. The edition name, city and date are public. Venue and arrival details are only available after personal access is verified.
How long we keep it
Interest registrations, guest names, contact details and attendance history are kept across editions until removed by an organiser. Records do not expire automatically. We also keep private curation and door notes where needed to manage access. You can request correction or deletion using the contact below. Temporary access-attempt records are kept for up to 24 hours.
Photography
Submitting an access request is not consent to the publication of your image. Any photography or publication permissions are handled separately.
